A note from the author
Why I wrote this book
I spent the first part of my life inside the scientific method. A Ph.D. from UC Davis, the University Medal, a career in research — I trusted evidence, and evidence served me well.
Then came experiences that the method could not hold. Not vague feelings, but shifts specific and repeatable enough that dismissing them would have been the unscientific act. So I followed them, and the path expanded beyond what I had been trained to accept.
Soaring Beyond is the account of that crossing, and an invitation into your own. It asks nothing of your intellect except that it make room. What waits on the other side is not a theory about your higher Self — it is the relationship itself.
